May 2nd, 7:00-8:00 PM ET (Free, Virtual Event) | The Asian American Experience: Past, Present & Future
As we kick off our annual Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, join NAAAP Atlanta for a conversation about The Asian American Experience: Past, Present & Future. Our community and family’s immigration journey to the United States is very diverse, so how has that shaped the stories of our communities? Further, how has our own AAPI history made an impact into who we are today as individuals and where we are headed next both personally and professionally?
During this one-hour session, we’ll hear reflections from current NAAAP Atlanta board members and our featured speaker, Monica Khant, Executive Director of the Asian Pacific Institute on Gender Based Violence (API-GBV). Learn more about Monica in the attached bio. This virtual event will be open to the public, so bring a friend or two!
