About Chopstix for Charity
Chopstix for Charity (CFC) is NAAAP Atlanta’s premier charity event, connecting corporations, small businesses and individuals to the local Asian Pacific Islander community. Since its formation, CFC has allocated over $800,000 in grants to non-profit organizations based in the greater metro Atlanta area.
Chopstix for Charity was established in 1997 through the collective efforts of various Asian-American organizations in Atlanta, including the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA), the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL), and NAAAP Atlanta. In 2002, NAAAP Atlanta received its 501(c)(3) status and assumed ownership of the fiscal responsibilities of CFC. In 2007, CFC was the signature evening event featured at the 21st annual NAAAP National Convention & Diversity Career Fair. Since then, CFC’s Organizing Committee has officially merged with NAAAP Atlanta’s Executive Board to strengthen its impact and connections within the Atlanta community.
The 29th Annual Chopstix for Charity Gala will be held on November 15th at Spring Hall Event Venue.

Grant Application
The Chopstix for Charity Grants Program seeks to fund not-for-profit organizations that provide services or benefits to Asian and Pacific Islander communities in metro Atlanta. We have a particular interest in funding organizations or projects that directly engage members of the Asian and Pacific Islander community in making transformative, positive change within their own community.
