Raksha is a non-profit focused on addressing social issues within the South Asian community such as family and sexual violence and divorce, as well as issues concerning children, senior citizens and new immigrants. This event aims to support survivors, raise awareness about their journey towards healing and empowerment, and provide the students materials needed for school.
Activities include:
Donation Drop-off: Bring your donated items to support families and survivors of Raksha.
Sorting Donations: Help us organize and prepare donated items for distribution.
Walk of Solidarity: Join us in a symbolic walk to show support and solidarity with survivors.
Survivor’s Story: Hear firsthand from a survivor about their inspiring journey.
Decorate pencil cases: Create colorful and uplifting pencil cases to brighten the day of children of Raksha.
