I serve with NAAAP Atlanta because it allows me to give back to my Atlanta community in a meaningful way. I have the unique opportunity to connect our members and sponsors to grassroots organizations that are transforming the lives of our AAPI community. This past year has inspired me to raise awareness to the issues that matter most to us and the importance of advocating for underserved communities.

I serve with NAAAP Atlanta because it allows me to advocate and spread awareness about the culture of the AAPI community. I am able to provide opportunities for individuals to participate in activities that bring together Asian American professionals through serving others. Growing up in various parts of the world, it has allowed me to understand the importance of cultural inclusivity. I want to pave the way for the next generations and help them find their own voice

Given that there are very few AAPI colleagues at my workplace, it is great to be part of broader AAPI community in Atlanta. I find myself learning from both our leaders and members at every interaction. I was also drawn to NAAAP Atlanta’s focused mission toward community leadership. Witnessing the impact of NAAAP Atlanta in fulfilling the many needs of our community has been an inspiration.

I serve with NAAAP Atlanta because I have a passion for giving Asian and Pacific Islander professionals more opportunities to grow themselves both professionally and personally. With the lack of representation of Hawaiian and Pacific Islander cultures in leadership, I wanted to also provide representation for others from diverse backgrounds. I am excited to serve with a team that is equally as passionate and driven in driving AANHPI professionals to show our whole story along with partner with our allies to learn more alongside us.
